Bhishma The Grandman of mahabharata

In the Mahabharata, Bhishma, also known as Bhishma Pitamaha and Gangaputra Bhishma, was well known for his pledge of celibacy. Originally named ‘Devavrata,’ he was the eighth son of the Kuru King Shantanu and the river goddess Ganga.
